How much caffeine do Pfanner’s tea beverages contain?
While the caffeine contained in the tea plant works via the central nervous system and therefore has a gentle, longer lasting and stimulating effect, the caffeine in coffee has a more intense and short-term effect via the cardiovascular system. Yellow, white, green and black tea as well as oolong tea and pu-erh tea contain caffeine. Infusions like herbal tea, fruit tea and rooibos tea come without caffeine. Because the caffeine content of the tea plant is influenced by the climate and the time of harvest, caffeine content differs depending on the drink. The average amount of caffeine contained in Pfanner iced teas and tea beverages is as follows:
