Which teas does Pfanner use?

Black tea: is produced in the conventional way: First, the leaves of the tea plant are wilted, rolled or crushed, and then fermented and dried. The fermentation process gives the tea its typical colour. Black tea contains caffeine and has a stimulating and soothing effect!

Green tea: is stimulating and has a positive effect on overall well-being. Green tea is not fermented, which means that its healing ingredients are preserved. Rooibos tea: The rooibos plant is valued for its healing properties.

Rooibos tea has a calming effect and supports well-being with minerals and antioxidants. Rooibos tea contains no caffeine and is therefore also ideal for children.

Pu-erh tea: comes from the same tea plant as green and black tea. A special fermentation process gives it its dark, reddish colour and strong, earthy flavour. In its native country of China it is considered to be slimming.

Fruit tea blends based on hibiscus and rose hip: Hibiscus tea is a thirst quencher and a delicious indulgence for every day. It has a positive effect on cholesterol levels and can therefore prevent cardiovascular diseases. The rose hip develops from the flowers of the wild rose. The skins used to make the tea contain vitamin C and natural antioxidants. Rose hips fight springtime lethargy and support the immune system.

Herbal tea blends: All the herbs used are also known for their medicinal properties: Balm, verbena, camomile, lady's mantle and nettle, which according to traditional wisdom have antispasmodic, calming, blood-cleaning and metabolism-enhancing properties.

White tea: owes its name to the white, velvety fluff around the young tea buds and is considered the finest tea in the world. This tea is usually only given a 2 percent ferment.
